Tay's House of Chats Terms of Use Welcome to Tay's House of Chats. By accessing, registering for or using Tay's House of Chats ("Tay's", "we", "us" or "our"), you agree to these Terms of Use and our community rules. Tay's is a women-only LGBTQ+ online community for adults aged 18 and over, created for chatting, friendship, community events, games and social interaction. If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not use the service. 1. Eligibility You must be 18 years of age or older to use Tay's House of Chats. Anyone under the age of 18 is strictly prohibited from registering for or using the service. Tay's is a women-only LGBTQ+ community. By joining and continuing to use the community, you agree to respect its purpose, its members and its community rules. We reserve the right to restrict or remove access where we reasonably believe that an account does not meet our eligibility requirements. 2. Your Account You are responsible for your account and for keeping your login credentials secure. You must not: - access another member's account without permission; - impersonate another member or member of staff; - deliberately misuse or attempt to circumvent our systems; - attempt to evade a suspension, restriction or ban; or - use multiple accounts to disrupt, deceive or abuse the community. Usernames, profile information, images and other account content must comply with our community rules. 3. Community Standards Members are expected to treat one another with respect. Harassment, bullying, threats, intimidation, discrimination, targeted abuse or behaviour intended to deliberately disrupt the community is not permitted. Hateful content or attacks based on characteristics such as race, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, gender, disability or other protected characteristics are not permitted. Members must also respect the personal boundaries and consent of other members. These standards apply throughout the community, including usernames, profiles, avatars, public chat and private messaging. Disagreements will sometimes happen. Members are expected to handle them appropriately and follow reasonable instructions from Tay's staff where moderation is required. 4. Prohibited and Illegal Content You must not use Tay's to post, upload, send, request, distribute or promote content that is illegal or facilitates illegal activity. Content involving the sexual exploitation or abuse of children is strictly prohibited. Any sexual content involving or depicting a person under the age of 18 is prohibited. Non-consensual intimate content, sexual exploitation, threats involving intimate material, or intimate content shared without the consent of the person depicted is also prohibited. Serious illegal content may be removed and, where appropriate or required, reported to the relevant authorities. Tay's may take immediate action against accounts involved in illegal, exploitative or seriously harmful activity. 5. Member-Generated Content Tay's provides a platform through which members can communicate and share content. Members are responsible for the content they choose to post, upload or share. The views, opinions and statements expressed by individual members are their own and do not necessarily represent the views of Tay's House of Chats. 6. Moderation and Enforcement Tay's is supported by staff who help maintain the community and enforce our rules. Staff may not be present in every room or available at all times. Where content or behaviour is reported, flagged or otherwise brought to our attention, we may investigate and take appropriate action. Depending on the circumstances, action may include a warning, removal of content, temporary restriction, kick, suspension or permanent ban. Serious matters may be referred to the appropriate authorities where necessary. Tay's reserves the right to take reasonable action to protect the community, its members, staff and services. 7. Member Safety Tay's is an online adult social community. Members should use sensible precautions when interacting with other people online. Do not share personal or sensitive information with another member unless you are comfortable doing so. Members should be particularly careful when sharing information such as home addresses, telephone numbers, financial information or passwords. If you choose to communicate with or meet another member outside Tay's, you do so at your own discretion and should take appropriate safety precautions. Tay's cannot guarantee the identity, intentions or conduct of individual members. 8. VIP Membership and Paid Features Tay's may offer optional VIP memberships or other paid features. VIP status does not exempt a member from these Terms or our community rules. VIP accounts may be restricted or terminated where a member seriously or repeatedly breaches our Terms or community rules. Features included with VIP membership may change as the community develops. Any applicable payment or refund conditions will be made available in connection with the relevant purchase. 9. Games, Events and Community Features Tay's may provide games, competitions, events, virtual coins, gifts, badges or other community features for entertainment and engagement. These features may be added, changed, removed or temporarily unavailable as Tay's develops. Unless specifically stated otherwise, virtual coins, gifts, points, badges and similar community features have no real-world monetary value and cannot be exchanged for cash. Participation in community games and events is voluntary. 10. Use of the Website Tay's is provided for personal and community use. You must not attempt to: - hack, damage or deliberately disrupt the website; - gain unauthorised access to accounts, systems or administrative areas; - interfere with the normal operation of the service; - exploit security vulnerabilities; - reverse engineer or improperly copy proprietary website software; or - use Tay's systems for unlawful or malicious purposes. Attempts to compromise the security or operation of Tay's may result in immediate account restrictions and further action where appropriate. 11. Copyright and Tay's Content The Tay's House of Chats name, branding, graphics, original content and other materials belonging to Tay's may not be copied, reproduced or represented as belonging to another person or service without permission. You may link to Tay's House of Chats and refer to the community in a reasonable and lawful manner. Tay's branding must not be used in a way that falsely suggests another website, service, product or organisation is operated, endorsed or approved by Tay's. 12. External Links Members or Tay's may occasionally share links to external websites. Tay's does not control third-party websites and is not responsible for their content, availability, privacy practices or services. Members should use appropriate caution when following external links. 13. Availability of the Service We aim to keep Tay's available and operating reliably, but we cannot guarantee that the service will always be available or free from errors or interruptions. Maintenance, technical problems, security issues or circumstances outside our control may occasionally affect access to the service. Features may be updated, changed or discontinued as the community develops. 14. Suspension and Termination Tay's may restrict, suspend or terminate an account where we reasonably believe that these Terms, our community rules or our safety requirements have been breached. Serious misconduct may result in immediate removal from the community. Attempts to evade a restriction or ban by creating or using another account may result in further accounts being restricted. Moderation decisions are made for the purpose of managing and protecting the community. 15. Responsibility and Liability Members use Tay's and interact with other members at their own discretion. Tay's cannot guarantee the identity, behaviour, statements or actions of individual members or the accuracy of information shared by members. Tay's is not responsible for the independent actions of members outside the service. Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or restrict any liability or legal right that cannot lawfully be excluded. 16. Privacy Your use of Tay's is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how information associated with accounts and use of the service is handled. 17. Changes to These Terms We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to Tay's, our community or our features. The latest version will be published on Tay's House of Chats. Continued use of Tay's after updated Terms take effect means that you agree to the updated Terms. 18.
